UGANDA: Global Village Network
We have recently developed a partnership with a local NGO in Uganda.
We are currently providing them with capacity support and trying to help them secure funding for their projects. We are still pending the outcome of these efforts.
At the request of GVN in Uganda we are also working with them to begin a volunteer programme. This will be a great opportunity for volunteers to get involved in projects in their infancy.
We currently are looking for an individual interested in volunteering with GVN. The placement will last 2 months and the donation £900 all of which will be paid directly to GVN. We have had friends and trustees of V2V visit in the past but would like an independent volunteer to spend at least 2 months there to help develop the volunteer programme.
