This website is a guide to books, films, posters and web resources which support global, intercultural and environmental understanding for all age groups and subjects. From climate change to poverty, water to fair trade, you can find a huge range of teaching resources and background material.
DEA's has a range of publications including a large archive, recent research, advice on funding for global learning in the UK. You can also sign up to the Global Learning Charter If your organisation believes that learning can help tackle some of the big issues that we collectively face such as climate change, intolerance and poverty then signing the Global Learning Charter and will show your support.
DFID has funding for formal education project activities and products. They support work on education policy, and support schools to help them implement government policy on teaching about global issues.

Tide talk~is a journal on-line to share ideas and experiences. Our main base is the Tide~ Centre, Birmingham.
DEP works with teachers, trainee teachers, youth workers and other educators to promote diversity, global education and sustainable development. We are based at the MMU Institute of Education in Didsbury, but our geographical coverage is across Greater Manchester. We are one of seven development education centres across the north west. In addition to our bookshop and funded projects, we offer training courses designed to meet teachers' and schools' own needs.

The site contains a broad range of materials exploring a variety of development issues and topics such as genocide or fair trade that are discussed and debated, materials and ideas for teachers and educators, using cartoons and photographs in education, campaign actions such as on the Millennium Development Goals or Child Labour, plus a range of other materials including photo stories, Top 10s, annotated links and much, much more.
The “Better by the Year”? Website looks at the big issues of today and explores the challenges faced by five developing countries, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Mali and Palestine in South America, Africa and the Middle East.
